Although I wasn't won over by Anne Parillaud's performance in Luc Besson's "La Femme Nikita" (1990), this film was definitely a step in the right direction for the entire girls with guns genre. American actress Bridget Fonda and Hong Kong actress Jade Leung have also played the title character in "Point Of No Return" (1993) and "Black Cat" (1991).
