Strange things start happening in the Freeling's household, and it appears that the house may be haunted. But things get really serious when a big scary tree in the front yard tries to eat their son and their daughter is somehow sucked into their TV. Some paranormal professionals are brought in to rescue Carol Anne with scary and spectacular results, but the restless spirits continue to plague the family until the nature of their unrest is discovered.
