Disney's fun and exciting adaptation of Jules Verne's classic novel about a brilliant scientist named Captain Nemo (James Mason) and the idealistic exploits of his nuclear submarine, the Nautilus. Kirk Douglas is a goofy sailor who gets caught up in the whole mess. The story and effects seem a bit hokey, but it's still a lot of fun.
