Christmas 1998
An early attempt with art markers. I had become frustrated with the hardware and
software limitations that I was running into with my computer art, and was really
unhappy with my colored pencils. So, I decided to try my hand at markers. Hell, a
lot of pros use art markers to stunning effect, so why not me? Ah, because I'm not
a professional... It turns out that they're really tough to master and extremely
unforgiving. I also decided to shock my friends and go in a new direction by
attempting to capture the playful sensuality of two girls in tender embrace. I'm
not sure if I pulled it off, but it was a worthwhile experiment.
