After playing
"Sonic Adventure", I was so taken by Amy Rose's character that
I decided to try and draw her. Nothing in the game is more satisfying than running
around as her and whacking things with her giant hammer. The problem is that I have
a really hard time capturing the "cute factor." It must be something with all
of those warm and friendly curves, rounded edges, and exagerrated features that just
goes totally against my nature. Regardless, after several attempts I think I came up
with something that manages to capture her essence. I was originally going to use
this for a Christmas card image (hence the candy cane in lieu of her hammer), but
ended up using something else instead.
